Dear ones,
Here in New Zealand we’ve found ourselves plunged into a very sudden level 4 lockdown and whilst it was very much on the cards, it’s still very jarring and very disruptive. There are a lot of very’s in that sentence but I guess that’s the nature of the week we’ve had!
Here are a range of free resources at Start With You to help to not just get through lockdown but to thrive.

Do you need some new ways to relax or rest?
Are you finding it hard to calm your mind down? To get to sleep?
Do you just want to be able to step off the planet for a bit?
Check out my free Guided Meditations. These simple guided mediations help you quieten the mind, calm the body and experience more relaxation. The Breath Awareness meditation can help quieten the mind and help you be more in your body. The Inner Stillness Lake mediation is a good go-to when you need a rest during the day but you’re not sure you can sleep. My meditations are available on the Insight Timer app (for Android and iPhone) to – just put my name in the search. Access here.
The main trick right now is to know how to help your nervous system stay calm and in balance, and how to navigate your own internal responses. That is what I help people do every day – usually and often regarding work and personal stresses, and more recently of course, pandemic-related stress too. I’ve guided numerous business owners and professionals over the last 18 months to lower their stress and rise higher through this experience. Many of them are flourishing.

PS. If you didn’t catch this on my social media channels, let me also share with you my favourite lockdown song – The Keep Going On song from The Bengsons. They offered it during the first lockdowns and a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, but this song has so much heart it still feels good. Watch it here.
